Vasily V. Deriker (1815-1878)

Originally from Finland in 1868, a petition for the formation of a Homeopathic society was granted. Secretary his becomes Deriker. The purpose of its approval is the scientific and practical development of homeopathy in Russia. In 1870 he opened the first hospital in St. Petersburg, where the homeopaths are treated free of charge. In 1877, due to lack of funding, the hospital was closed, the society disintegrated.
